Before I say anything, I am going to say that I do work at or am actively involved with some of these hosts! I am including them because I know they are trustworthy and overall good service providers

Oddblox Hosting

Odbblox is a paid Minecraft server provider I work at. They offer numerous locations, spanning the US, Europe and Asia. Support is offered via Live Chat, Discord and customer panel tickets.

ForestRacks

ForestRacks is a paid service provider with a wide selection of items. They offer VPS hosting, Web hosting, Game servers, Discord Bot hosting, and domains. They offer support via their customer panel, and have locations across the US, Europe and Australia.

Pebblehost

Pebblehost is one of the biggest players in the market, having been there when I was in middle school. They offer Minecraft servers, VPS hosting, Discord bot hosting, web hosting, and even dedicated servers. Locations differ based on service, it looks like

Vultr

Vultr is a huge (and I mean fucking massive) provider that offers all sorts of services. It is more on the expensive side, but it is great if you need a tiny VM in the middle of nowhere. I have used them to run my host's router (they offer free BGP!), so I know it is pretty good and stable.

I am far too lazy to write out all of the hosts that I think are good. I will list the rest here:

  • Contabo (Everyone hates them, but they are good for projects)

  • Clouvider

Hosts to stay away from

There are some hosts that you shouldn't use, but there are too many of them for me to list here. Not to mention, a lot of them constantly rename themselves, and switch branding, so keeping the list up to day would be a pain in the ass. For a up-to-date list of hosts to stay away from (Also called Summerhosts!), check out Deka's Summerhost List. If you see any hosts by BadSK (Otherwise known as... 1tqr, am5z, atqr, Ampere, and layerxbt), stay away from them. You will lose your data, and any data you give them will be breached. (They also have a history of going through their member's mod folders, looking for premium mods they can steal).
